Oras Punto Brings Healthcare to Remote Communities
Oras Punto Brings Healthcare to Remote Communities

Dr. Matt Marvin Cabalquinto, during his visits to remote communities, observed that residents often postpone medical check-ups — not due to negligence, but because clinics are too far, costs are too high, or the process seems overwhelming.

He aimed to change this. As president of Oras Punto, he established the center based on a simple belief: Healthcare should reach people where they are, when they need it.

Key Partnerships

One of its most significant partnerships is with the Yakap Gamot Program, which provides free check-ups, laboratory tests, and medicines to qualified patients.

They also cover outpatient mental health packages for conditions such as depression, psychoses, dementia, substance-use disorders, and more.

For children aged 0 to 15, free eye check-ups and eyeglasses help them see clearly and learn better.

Here’s an important last-minute reminder: Early detection reduces complications and saves lives.
