The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) is set to bring its flagship training programs to Cebu on March 13-14, 2025. The two-day event, titled "Strategic Communication and Crisis Management in the Digital Age," will be held at the Radisson Blu Cebu.
Training Program Details
The training aims to equip PR practitioners, corporate communicators, and marketing professionals with the latest tools and strategies in the field. According to PRSP National President Atty. Leo N. F. P. Martinez, the program is designed to address the evolving challenges in public relations. "We are excited to bring this valuable learning opportunity to Cebu, enabling more professionals to enhance their skills without traveling to Manila," Martinez said.
The event will feature workshops on digital communication strategies, media relations, and crisis response planning. Participants will also engage in case studies and simulations led by industry experts.
Impact on Local Professionals
PRSP Cebu Chapter President Maria Teresa L. G. S. Tan emphasized the significance of the program for local practitioners. "This training will help our members stay competitive and responsive in a rapidly changing media landscape," she noted. The initiative is expected to benefit over 100 participants from various sectors in the Visayas region.
The training is part of PRSP's nationwide effort to decentralize professional development opportunities. By holding sessions outside Metro Manila, the society aims to reach a wider audience and foster regional expertise.
