The Department of Tourism (DOT) has officially named the Filipino girl group BINI as its new tourism ambassadors. Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay announced the appointment on July 3, 2026, highlighting that each member of the eight-piece group represents a specific province or town in the Philippines.

According to Secretary Angara-Mathay, every member of BINI embodies the unique cultural heritage and attractions of their respective hometowns. She stated that all of them possess deep knowledge about the colorful and proud aspects of their provinces. This initiative aims to promote local tourism by leveraging the group's popularity and connection to their roots.

The group comprises Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena. They rose to fame with hit songs such as “Pantropiko,” “Salamin,” and several others, which have garnered millions of streams and a strong fanbase both locally and internationally.

Long-Term Ambassadorship
