Two Korean nationals were involved in a dispute at a hotel in Barangay Apas, Cebu City, after two women and a member of the LGBTQ+ community complained that the Koreans failed to pay the full agreed amount for sexual services early Wednesday, July 1, 2026, past 3:00 a.m.
The foreigners were identified as alias Jo, 25, and alias Yung, 26, while the complainants were identified as alias Shane, Ashley, and Cindy, who are friends.
Police Investigation Reveals Agreement
According to the investigation by the Mabolo Police Station, the complainants said they met the Koreans at a club in Barangay Lahug and were taken to the hotel. The two parties allegedly agreed that the friends would be paid P10,000, with the foreigners giving P3,000 as a down payment.
After the services were rendered, they went down to the hotel lobby, with one of the Koreans claiming to withdraw money to pay the remaining balance. However, according to the victims, when the money was handed over, the foreigners suddenly grabbed it back and ran away.
Suspects Caught With Police Assistance
The friends chased the Koreans and eventually caught them with the help of responding police officers. At the police station, the foreigners promised to pay their obligation, leading to a resolution of the issue.
