Josefina "Joy" Belmonte and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) – Quezon City. This prestigious accolade celebrates HAWS's unwavering commitment to advancing inclusive and accessible healthcare for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) across the city.

Recognition of Digital Health Innovations for PWD Communities

The award was presented in Quezon City on February 10, 2026, highlighting HAWS's role as a technology partner in promoting inclusive healthcare initiatives. In response, HAWS expressed deep gratitude to Mayor Belmonte and PDAO QC for their trust and collaboration. The company emphasized that this recognition affirms its mission to leverage digital health solutions to support inclusivity, health literacy, and equitable access to care for PWD communities.

Dr. Rylan Flores accepted the award on behalf of HAWS, underscoring the strong partnership between the organization and PDAO QC, which is led by Ms. Debbie Dacanay. This collaboration is part of a broader effort to bridge accessibility gaps and expand patient-centered care, ensuring that no resident is left behind in the healthcare system.

Strengthening Partnerships for a More Inclusive Healthcare Ecosystem

The award ceremony also highlighted HAWS's ongoing work with PAMSConnect by the Philippine Academy of Medical Specialists, Inc. (PAMS). Together, these partnerships reinforce a shared commitment to health education, innovation, and the creation of a more inclusive, compassionate, and accessible healthcare ecosystem for all Quezon City residents.

Looking ahead, HAWS has announced plans to deepen its collaboration with local government units, civil society organizations, and the private sector. The company aims to continue advancing inclusive healthcare initiatives, building on the momentum generated by this award to drive further progress in accessibility and equity.

This recognition from the Quezon City Government serves as a testament to HAWS's impactful work in the healthcare sector, particularly in addressing the unique needs of PWDs. It marks a significant step forward in the city's efforts to foster a more inclusive society through innovative health solutions.
