Netizens were shocked after a photo and videography company announced that basketball star Kai Sotto and actress-model Rere Madrid have gotten married. In their social media post on Wednesday, May 27, the company congratulated the newlyweds and confirmed the union of the two.
"No more 'you' and 'me'—only us from here on out. Officially married, @kzsotto and @reremadrid," the caption of the post read.
Meanwhile, in an Instagram post by Rere Madrid, she shared her emotions and described their journey from being a couple to marriage. "Till feels unreal that we finally get to call this day ours (Mr & Mrs Sotto)," Rere said, where she also thanked God, their families, and the people who supported their relationship. She mentioned that despite challenges and misunderstandings, they chose to trust each other, which further strengthened their bond.
She also expressed gratitude to their parents and siblings who were part of their relationship and said that one of the best feelings for them is the merging of two families. "Now, we'll continue chasing our dreams together, hand in hand," she added.
A similar post can be seen on Kai Sotto's Instagram account. Kai and Rere first made their relationship public in July 2024 when they attended a gala event together.
