Chelsea Fernandez, the first runner-up of Miss Cosmo 2025, revealed on Instagram on May 12, 2026, that she lost P100,000 in cash after accidentally leaving it in a ridehailing vehicle. The incident occurred just hours after her final walk as Miss Cosmo Philippines 2025 at The Miss Philippines coronation ball on May 10.
Devastating Discovery
In her social media post, Fernandez expressed devastation over the loss, stating that no one offered help or cooperation. She wrote, "She doesn’t know it yet, but after this event, she’ll lose P100k after leaving it in the car she booked, and no one will help and cooperate. I don’t know anymore. I feel devastated."
Although she did not name the Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) she used, Fernandez confirmed that she has already reported the incident to the police. The beauty queen urged her followers to be cautious with their belongings when using ridehailing services.

Following her post, fans and fellow pageant candidates offered words of encouragement and shared tips on recovering lost items. Some suggested contacting the ridehailing company's customer support and filing a formal complaint with the authorities. As of now, no updates have been provided regarding the recovery of the cash.
