Vico Sotto Calls for Prayer and Conscience

In a Facebook post, Sotto wrote: "For now all we can do is watch and pray for our country. I hope our minds are enlightened and the conscience of everyone prevails (especially those in high positions)."

Kim Chiu Questions Senator's Actions

Actress Kim Chiu also weighed in, saying: "Nothing like this would happen if the person who claims to be innocent would voluntarily surrender... Is this the senator you voted for who promised to serve our country?"

Kapamilya broadcaster Zen Hernandez questioned why senators sought help from the NBI when there were PNP officers guarding the Senate. She found it strange that the PNP was not allowed to enter the Senate after the shooting.
