In a live episode of Wilyonaryo on May 6, 2026, Willie Revillame finally broke his silence on the viral social media issue. A former production intern named Dex Conche alleged that staff were forbidden from looking at or talking to Revillame during his time as an intern on Wowowin.
Willie Revillame's Denial
Revillame categorically denied the allegations, calling them fake news. “There’s a lot of slander coming out on social media. Don’t believe that I’m not allowed to be looked at. First, I didn’t know there were OJTs or interns there. I didn’t know that… So don’t believe that I’m not allowed to be looked at or anything. This kid is crazy. He wants to be famous. Are you using me? How can I not be looked at when I joke around with everyone I see?” he explained.
He added, “You, you’re still young, but you’re already crazy. Sometimes you just get annoyed by these fake news. We don’t even know him… We never saw him at GMA… Wowowin is just coming back, and you’re already slandering me. Wowowin is coming back to help our countrymen who are struggling in life. We’re already finding ways.”
Challenge to the Accuser
Revillame challenged the alleged intern to come to the set and talk face-to-face to determine who is telling the truth. “Come here, introduce yourself to me, and let’s have a one-on-one. Tell me when you saw me. Are you making up a story to become famous? Are you making up a story to be known? Are you going to play with people?… My God. Fear God. You are speaking untruths. What a waste. You’re still young and you’re already lying… If you were a student, I hope you graduated. I hope your life turns out well.”
It was recalled that Dex Conche appeared on a podcast and revealed his experience as an intern on Wowowin, claiming that they were banned from looking at or talking to Revillame, or else their supervisor would be held responsible.
