Moira Dela Torre was named Female Recording Artist of the Year at the 17th Star Awards for Music, held on Thursday, June 25, 2026. The event recognized outstanding achievements in the Philippine music industry.
James Reid Wins Album of the Year for 'jgh'
James Reid took home Album of the Year for his album “jgh,” solidifying his impact in the music scene. Maki won Song of the Year for “Dilaw,” while Ben&Ben was named Group/Duo Artist of the Year.
Other Major Winners
Regine Velasquez won Female Concert Performer of the Year for “Regine Rocks: The Repeat,” while TJ Monterde took Male Concert Performer of the Year for “Sarili Nating Mundo Concert.” Jayda Avanzado was named Female Pop Artist of the Year for “Right Lover, Wrong Time,” and Maki also won Male Pop Artist of the Year for “Dilaw.”
SB19 and BINI Shine
BINI’s album “Talaarawan” won Pop Album of the Year. SB19 won Concert of the Year and Duo/Group Concert Performer of the Year for their “Pagtatag! World Tour (Manila).” Their music video “Kalakal” with Gloc-9 won Music Video of the Year.
New Artists and Genre Winners
Dwayne Garcia was named New Male Recording Artist of the Year for “Taym Perst Muna,” while Debbie Lopez won New Female Recording Artist of the Year for “Ang Higugmaon Ka.” Sponge Cola won Rock Artist of the Year for “Tatlong Buwan.” Zéla and Kris Lawrence took Female and Male R&B Artist of the Year, respectively. Angela Ken won Female Acoustic Artist of the Year for “Kulimlim,” and Juan Karlos won Male Acoustic Artist of the Year for “Tanga Mo Juan.”
Collaboration and Rap Categories
Collaboration of the Year was a tie between “Hanggang Dulo” by Jos Garcia x Nolo Lopez and “Palagi” by TJ Monterde x KZ Tandingan. Shanti Dope’s “Drugs” won Rap Album of the Year, while Illest Morena and TRC shared Rap Artist of the Year for “Morenita.”
