The Philippine House of Representatives has officially honored the Pinoy pop group BINI for making history as the first Filipino pop group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The recognition came through House Resolution No. 93, which acknowledges the group's significant contribution to expanding the influence of P-pop and Original Pilipino Music (OPM) on the international stage.

The resolution states that BINI's success demonstrates the growing global presence of Filipino artists and serves as an inspiration to aspiring artists and creatives across the country. House Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander "Sandro" Marcos III said that BINI's achievement reflects the talent and creativity of Filipinos. He added that the group inspires Filipino youth who dream of making a name in the music and creative industries.

BINI is composed of members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. The group recently performed on April 10 and 17, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, where they sang hit songs such as "Pantropiko," "Karera," and "Salamin, Salamin," as well as their new song "Blush."
