The easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, will continue to affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, and eastern Mindanao on Thursday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Weather Conditions

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains and thunderstorms are expected in Visayas, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental. PAGASA warned that flash floods or landslides may occur in areas experiencing severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with possible occasional rains or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Low Pressure Area

PAGASA is monitoring a Low Pressure Area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. It has a moderate chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are expected along the coasts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
