The vibrant Korean community in Central Luzon showcased its rich heritage and strengthened its bond with local authorities during a significant annual gathering. The Korean Community Association in Central Luzon (KCACL) successfully held its Hanbi Cultural Festival on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Royce Hotel within the Clark Freeport zone.
Strengthening Community and Government Ties
KCACL President Jong Pil Choi emphasized the festival's core mission: to fortify the relationship between the local government and the Korean community residing in Pampanga. The event served as a powerful platform for dialogue and mutual appreciation, drawing key figures from the provincial and city leadership.
The festival's significance was underscored by the attendance of top local officials. Pampanga Governor Lilia "Nanay Baby" Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda graced the occasion, alongside Angeles City Mayor Carmelo "Jon" Lazatin II. Representatives from the Central Luzon and Pampanga police forces were also present, highlighting the collaborative focus on security.
