Rider Seeks Forgiveness After Dangerous Superman Stunt on Transcentral Highway
A 21-year-old motorcycle rider, Kylle Esconas, has publicly apologized and requested a second chance following a perilous stunt he performed on Transcentral Highway on February 15, 2026. The incident, which involved Esconas riding his motorcycle in a Superman-like position, quickly went viral on social media, prompting swift action from law enforcement and transportation agencies.
Legal Consequences and Official Statements
The Highway Patrol Group (HPG) 7 has filed an alarm and scandal case against Esconas, while the Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7 has suspended his driver's license for 90 days. Police Lieutenant Colonel Wildemar Tiu, the regional chief of HPG 7, emphasized the extreme danger posed by the stunt, noting it could have easily caused harm to other motorists or pedestrians. He stated that the case was pursued to deter similar reckless behavior on the highway.
Following the stunt, Esconas was involved in a minor accident when he collided with another motorcycle that was recording the incident. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. Authorities have identified Esconas as a resident of Barangay Poblacion Occidental in Consolacion City.

In a heartfelt appeal, Esconas expressed remorse to both the LTO 7 and HPG, acknowledging his mistake and vowing never to repeat such dangerous driving. During the investigation, Esconas admitted to obtaining his driver's license through a fixer, bypassing standard procedures. He revealed that he paid over P12,000 to secure his license, starting from a student permit up to a Non-Professional license from LTO 7, without attending required seminars or driving school sessions. However, he declined to disclose the identity of the fixer involved in processing his documents.
This case underscores ongoing issues with corruption in licensing processes and serves as a stark reminder of the importance of adhering to traffic laws for public safety.
