A 34-year-old man never made it home after a night of drinking when he accidentally fell into a river while walking back to his residence in Consolacion, Cebu.
Angelo "Eloy" Arcilla, a 34-year-old bachelor, was found lifeless by neighbors and family members floating in the river early Sunday morning, November 23, 2025. The tragic discovery occurred in Sitio Laray, Barangay Jugan, Consolacion City.

According to the Consolacion Police Station investigation, Arcilla was heavily intoxicated when he was last seen alive on Saturday night. Authorities believe that while the victim was walking along the bridge, he lost his balance due to his drunken state and fell into the river below.
