Their collective presence underscored a unified commitment to women empowerment and fostering an inclusive environment within the police force.

Celebratory Activities and Team-Building Events

According to Lieutenant Colonel Joem Malong, chief of the PRO-NIR Public Information Office, the event highlighted the organization's unwavering dedication to recognizing women's invaluable roles, advancing gender equality, and enhancing unity both within the police force and the broader community.

To ignite a spirit of camaraderie, PRO-NIR organized a lively Women's Month Sportsfest that combined fun, teamwork, and friendly competition. Participants engaged in a series of spirited activities, including:

  • A competitive tug of war that tested strength and coordination.
  • An energetic sack race that added a playful twist to traditional sports.
  • The culturally inspired kadang kadang relay, celebrating local heritage.
  • A creative basketball challenge using a laundry basket, designed to encourage innovation and collaboration.

These activities were not only entertaining but also aimed at strengthening collaboration, resilience, and teamwork among the personnel, fostering a supportive and cohesive atmosphere.

Culmination with Zumba and Symbolic Unity

The celebration reached its peak with a high-energy Zumba session, where personnel and staff came together in a vibrant display of unity and wellness. This dynamic dance workout symbolized strength in movement and solidarity, values that reflect the crucial role of women in building stronger institutions and communities.

Lieutenant Colonel Malong emphasized that the event went beyond mere celebration; it reaffirmed PRO-NIR's enduring dedication to uplifting women and deepening community engagement.
