The sacred heart relic of Saint Carlo Acutis, the young Catholic saint known as "God's Influencer," has arrived in the Philippines for an extensive 18-day pilgrimage across multiple dioceses throughout the country.

Historic Relic Arrival and Pilgrimage Schedule

The pericardium heart relic touched down in the Philippines on Thursday, November 27, 2025, marking the beginning of a significant spiritual journey that will span 16 different dioceses. Organized by the Friends of St. Carlo Acutis – Philippines (FSCAPh), this remarkable tour will continue until December 15, 2025, when the relic returns to its home in Perugia, Italy.

The pilgrimage officially commences on Friday, November 28, with visits to two significant locations: the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Bulacan and the San Roque Cathedral in Caloocan City. This extensive tour represents one of the most comprehensive relic visits in recent Philippine Catholic history.

Comprehensive Itinerary Across Luzon

The relic's journey encompasses numerous important religious sites throughout Luzon. The carefully planned itinerary includes stops at the Minor Basilica of San Sebastian in Manila City, Kristong Hari Parish in Quezon City, and the Cathedral Parish of San Sebastian in Tarlac.

Other notable destinations include the Cathedral Parish of St. Paul the First Hermit in Laguna, Diocesan Shrine of Nuestra Señora de Candelaria in Cavite, and Sta. Clara de Montefalco Parish in Pasig City. The National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Valenzuela City will also host the relic, along with St. Nicholas of Tolentino Parish and Saint William's Cathedral in Ilocos Norte.

The International Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in Antipolo City represents another significant stop, while the Catholic Social Media Summit in Manila City provides a particularly fitting venue given Saint Carlo Acutis's legacy as a digital evangelist.

Additional Pilgrimage Stops and Final Destinations

The relic's journey continues with visits to Our Lady of the Abandoned Parish in Mandaluyong City, Diocesan Shrine of St. Peregrine Laziosi in Muntinlupa City, and the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Parañaque City.

Further stops include the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Quezon City, National Shrine and Parish of St. John Paul II in Bataan, and Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Thérèse in Zambales. The relic will also visit the Cathedral Parish of St. Joseph the Patriarch and Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Pangasinan.

Educational institutions and additional parishes round out the itinerary, including Dr. Yanga's Colleges Inc. in Bulacan, Mary Immaculate Parish in Parañaque City, and the Parish and National Shrine of St. Padre Pio in Batangas. The Immaculate Conception Parish and St. Carlo Acutis Proposed Parish in Batangas will also welcome the relic.

The final day of the pilgrimage on December 14 will see the relic at Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Makati City and San Felipe Neri Parish in Mandaluyong City before its scheduled return to Italy on December 15.

Saint Carlo Acutis achieved canonization by Pope Leo XIV on September 7, 2025, with his feast day celebrated on October 12, commemorating the date of his death in 2006.
