Authorities have identified the arrested individual as alias Upod, a 23-year-old resident of Janiuay, Iloilo. The suspect was apprehended based on a warrant of arrest issued on February 12, 2026, by the Regional Trial Court 6, Branch 6, Sixth Judicial Region in Dumangas, Iloilo.

The charges against Upod involve lascivious conduct under Section 5, paragraph B of Republic Act 7610, which is formally known as the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act. This legislation provides enhanced legal protections for minors against various forms of abuse and exploitation.
