Intelligence operatives from Iloilo City, supported by local and regional police units, successfully apprehended the province's eighth most wanted individual on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The arrest operation took place in Barangay Nabitasan, La Paz, marking a significant achievement for law enforcement authorities.

Details of the Case and Suspect

The suspect, known by the alias Flor, is a 34-year-old single resident from Barangay Napnapan, Tigbauan, Iloilo. Authorities captured Flor based on an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 37 Judge Marie Yvette Dedel Go.

The warrant covers 17 separate counts of qualified theft under Article 310 of the Revised Penal Code. The court set the total bail amount at ₱680,000, reflecting the seriousness of the multiple charges.

Police Response and Current Status

Police Colonel Kim P. Legada, city director of the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO), praised the operating units for their successful collaboration in locating and arresting the fugitive.

"There is no safe place for fugitives. The Iloilo City Police Office will relentlessly pursue all those who evade the law until they are held accountable," Legada stated emphatically. He added that "this arrest underscores our firm commitment to a safer and just community."

The suspect is currently detained at Iloilo City Police Station 2 while awaiting formal turnover to the issuing court that handled the qualified theft case.
