Pampanga Police Nab 6 in Major Drug Busts, Seize P100k+ in Narcotics
6 Arrested in Pampanga Anti-Drug Operations

Authorities in Pampanga apprehended six individuals in a series of targeted anti-drug operations conducted across the province on Monday, December 16, 2025. The coordinated crackdown led to the seizure of various illegal substances with a total estimated street value exceeding one hundred thousand pesos.

Major Seizures Across Multiple Towns

According to Colonel Eugene Marcelo, director of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office, the operations are part of an intensified campaign to curb the illegal drug trade in the region. The most significant haul occurred in Mabalacat City, where police captured a High Value Individual in Barangay Dau. From this suspect, law enforcement recovered 525 grams of suspected marijuana valued at approximately PHP 63,000.

Vapes, Kush, and Shabu Confiscated

In a separate operation in Mabalacat, a joint force from the local police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga arrested two alleged drug peddlers, aged 62 and 20, in Barangay Sapang Biabas. The confiscated items from this bust included:

  • Two marijuana vape cartridges worth PHP 9,000
  • One gram of kush valued at PHP 1,500

Meanwhile, other municipal police stations reported successful interdictions. The Minalin Municipal Police Station arrested one person and seized 3.1 grams of suspected shabu worth an estimated PHP 21,080.

In San Simon, operatives from the municipal police station apprehended a drug suspect in Barangay San Isidro. The operation yielded one gram of suspected shabu with a value of PHP 6,800.

Personnel from the San Luis Municipal Police Station also made an arrest in Barangay San Isidro, Sasmuan. During that operation, they recovered 0.9 gram of suspected shabu valued at PHP 6,120.

Legal Consequences for Suspects

All six individuals arrested during the December 16 operations now face serious criminal charges. Police have filed cases against them for violations of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Colonel Marcelo emphasized that these operations reflect the police force's unwavering commitment to dismantling drug networks and ensuring community safety throughout Pampanga.
