The buy-bust operation took place around 8:30 p.m. on February 18, 2026, in Barangay Alugmawa, Lambunao, Iloilo, marking a major victory in the ongoing campaign against illegal substances in the province.

Details of the Arrest and Seizure

The suspect, identified as alias Noni, is a 37-year-old married construction worker and resident of Barangay Alugmawa. Police Colonel Bayani Razalan, the provincial director of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office, confirmed the arrest and praised the efforts of the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Lambunao MPS, which was led by Police Lieutenant Gabriel Gilmer Manguera, the officer-in-charge. Razalan emphasized the team's dedication and hard work, stating that this arrest adds to the growing list of high-value drug personalities apprehended in Iloilo.

During the operation, authorities confiscated the shabu, which has a Standard Drug Price of P442,000.
