According to the Carcar City Police investigation, the accident involved two motorcyclists traveling in opposite directions. Anor was heading south, while the other driver, Jene Seriquillo Fausto, a 21-year-old resident of Canlawilao, Dumalan, Dalaguete City, was traveling north. Upon reaching the site of the incident, Anor's motorcycle reportedly slid into the opposite lane, causing Fausto to be unable to avoid a collision.

The impact was severe, leading to critical head injuries for Anor. Both individuals were rushed to Cebu Provincial Hospital in Carcar City, but Anor was declared dead on arrival. Fausto, meanwhile, sustained injuries and bruises and continues to receive medical treatment at the hospital. Plans are underway to transfer Fausto to a medical facility in Cebu City for further care.
