According to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Zamboanga Peninsula Director Bryan Babang, the suspects were identified through their aliases as Brandon, Arnold, and Ben. Arnold and Ben were apprehended during a buy-bust operation around 4:45 p.m. on March 14 outside a hotel in Canelar village, Zamboanga City. Authorities recovered about 500 grams of suspected shabu, packaged in a resealable plastic bag, with an estimated street value of P3.4 million. Additional evidence included buy-bust money, a mobile phone, a vehicle used for drug delivery, and other non-drug items.
In a separate operation later that evening, Brandon was arrested around 7:50 p.m. along Corcuera Street in Zone 4 village, Zamboanga City. From his possession, lawmen confiscated one kilogram of suspected shabu, also packed in a resealable plastic bag, valued at P6.8 million. Similar evidence, such as buy-bust money, a mobile phone, and a car utilized in drug distribution, was seized during this arrest.

Director Babang confirmed that all three suspects will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
