According to the PCG, they anticipate a steady influx of travelers returning to their workplaces and residences from provincial areas during the post-holiday rush. Based on the latest data released by the bureau, inbound and outbound passenger numbers surged to 408,000 across various ports throughout the Philippines yesterday, coinciding with Easter Sunday celebrations.

As part of preparations for the substantial volume of travelers, all PCG districts, stations, and sub-stations nationwide were previously placed on heightened alert.
