Over 1,000 athletes, including foreign participants from eight countries, will compete in the ICTSI Philippine Athletic Championships presented by the Philippine Sports Commission from June 10 to 14 at the New Clark Athletics Stadium in Capas, Tarlac.
PATAFA President Highlights Competition's Impact
Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) President Terry Capistrano said the competition will greatly contribute to the development of track and field in the country.
“Gathering our nation’s finest athletes alongside international contenders at a world-class venue like New Clark City raises the competitive bar for everyone,” he said.
Participating Nations
The countries that have confirmed their participation are Chinese-Taipei, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Samoa, and the USA.
The event is expected to showcase top-tier athletic talent and provide a platform for local athletes to gain valuable experience against international competitors. The New Clark Athletics Stadium, a state-of-the-art facility, will host various track and field events throughout the five-day competition.
