Even without their second-leading scorer OG Anunoby, who is out with a hamstring injury, the Knicks' offense ignited immediately as Brunson and Hart hit consecutive three-point bombs. After the first quarter, the Knicks had already built a 43-25 lead and cruised to a decisive victory.

Joel Embiid led the eliminated 76ers with 24 points, Tyrese Maxey added 17, and Kelly Oubre Jr. contributed 10 points.

In the East finals, the Knicks will face the winner of the other semifinal series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons, where the Pistons currently lead 2-1.

In the West, the host Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the San Antonio Spurs 114-109 in Game 4 to tie their own conference semifinal series at 2-2. The Timberwolves capitalized on the early ejection of Spurs star Victor Wembanyama, who was thrown out in the second quarter after elbowing Naz Reid. Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 36 points, 16 of which came in the fourth quarter. Reid added 15 points, Jaden McDaniels scored 14, and Julius Randle contributed 12. The Spurs were led by De'Aaron Fox and reserve Dylan Harper, each with 24 points, while Stephon Castle added 20.
