Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, both former world heavyweight boxing champions, have signed a contract for their first-ever fight, which is scheduled to take place in late 2026.
The announcement was made by Saudi Arabian boxing booster Turki Al-Sheikh on social media. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Al-Sheikh said, "To my friends in Great Britain -- it's happening. It's signed."
No specific date or venue has yet been chosen for the highly anticipated bout between the two British boxers. The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Al-Sheikh's message was confirmed by Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Productions, on his Instagram account.
Fury, 37, holds a record of 35-2-1 with 24 knockouts, while Joshua, 36, has a record of 29-4 with 26 knockouts.
