Two powerhouse football schools in Cebu, Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) and Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC), are set to renew their rivalry in the highly anticipated El Clasico Deux on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The event, sponsored by Elan Vita Diagnostic Solutions, will take place at the Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Complex in Talisay City, Cebu.
Former Varsity Players to Showcase Skills
Former varsity football players from both schools will return to the field for this exciting match, which marks the second edition of the event. According to organizer Chad Songalia, "This is part two of last year's 'El Clasico'. It will still be the same, a fund-raising event for both schools' varsity program."
Previous Match Result
In the inaugural El Clasico held last year at the Cebu City Sports Center, DBTC defeated SHS-AdC in a penalty shootout with a score of 4-3. Both teams have been training for nearly a month in preparation for this rematch.
Preliminary Games
Before the main El Clasico event, elementary and high school teams from both schools will compete in preliminary matches, adding to the day's excitement.
