Some of Cebu's most promising boxing prospects will showcase their skills in the undercard of Chao Sy Promotions' "Fist of Fury X - The Eliminator" on May 9, 2026, at the iconic Cebu Coliseum. The event is headlined by a major International Boxing Federation (IBF) minimumweight world title eliminator between Ian Abne and China's Dianxing Zhu.
Undefeated Fighters in Action
Four undefeated up-and-comers—Jubert Cahimat, Jony Mar Loreno, Carl Penedo, and Justin Trazo—are set to appear in the boxing show, each facing tough opponents in their respective bouts.
Jubert Cahimat vs. Mark Sabang
Cahimat will lock horns with Mark Sabang in an eight-round bout. Cahimat, who turned professional last year, is eyeing his fifth straight win. He is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Ricky Batio-an. Sabang, on the other hand, lost by majority decision to Marsolo Pandian in his last outing. Cahimat carries a 4-0 record with one knockout, while Sabang is 5-2-1 with three knockouts.
Jony Mar Loreno vs. Kei Mark Akut
Loreno will go up against Kei Mark Akut in a six-round fight. Loreno also turned professional last year. His most recent fight was a unanimous decision win over Dariel Diamante last Jan. 10. Akut, meanwhile, is on a four-fight slump. Loreno is 2-0-1 with one knockout, while Akut is 2-4-1 with two knockouts.
Carl Penedo vs. Marlon Alejandro
Penedo is also fighting in a six-rounder, this time against experienced Marlon Alejandro. Penedo last fought in February, knocking out Jovel Siervo in the first round in Dalaguete, Cebu. Alejandro has lost his last six fights. Penedo is 2-0 with one knockout, while Alejandro is 6-11-2 with one knockout.
Justin Trazo vs. Conrad Jason Aguhar
Trazo will trade leathers with Conrad Jason Aguhar in a four-round fight. Trazo just turned professional this year and won by majority decision over Justine Tinambacan. Agujar is still looking for his first career win after losing all five of his bouts. Trazo is 1-0, while Agujar is 0-5.
Also slated on the undercard, Chinese pug Aqoian Li will face Jerson Baclohan.
