The Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Junior Wildcats clinched the championship in the Cebu Youth Basketball League (CYBL) 18-Under category after defeating Paref Springdale, 91-74, on Thursday, April 30, at the Magnum Sports Complex in Lahug, Cebu City.

The Junior Wildcats, under the guidance of coach Axel Rabaya, quickly built a 25-point lead. However, Springdale's team, led by coach Jax Bautista, attempted a comeback and cut the deficit to 76-68 with four minutes remaining. Jay Klarence Obeso and Geoffe Vhon Partosa responded swiftly with three consecutive three-pointers from beyond the arc to restore the Junior Wildcats' comfortable lead.

Obeso led the Junior Wildcats with 22 points. He received strong support from Partosa and Maxim Santiago, who each scored 16 points, while John Paul Desquitado and Florence Lloyd Cawit contributed 14 and 12 points, respectively.
