Aquino files bill to combat child hunger, boost nutrition

MANILA. Senator Bam Aquino has filed Senate Bill No. 2272, known as the 'Masustansyang Pagkain Para sa Batang Pilipino Act,' to strengthen the national nutrition program and address child hunger.

According to Aquino, hunger directly affects a child's brain development and learning capacity.

Aquino also defended his other legislative measures, including the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, the Last Mile and GIDA Schools Act for remote areas, and the AICS Act for apolitical aid.
