Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner Willie Marcial has warned Converge FiberXers forward Calvin Abueva that he will face a heavier penalty if he commits another violation in the ongoing Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup.
Abueva Fined P20,000 for Elbowing Incident
Abueva was fined P20,000 for elbowing Magnolia Hotshots big man Zavier Lucero during the FiberXers' 94-106 loss on Sunday, April 19. Although Abueva apologized for his action, he did not escape punishment.
This is the second time in this conference that Abueva has been fined P20,000 by the PBA.
