Police Colonel George Ylanan, chief of the CCPO, attributed the absence of any untoward incidents during the period to the frequency and intensity of their operations. He emphasized that despite the deployment of most of his personnel to Lapu-Lapu City for the ASEAN summit, the CCPO remained fully committed to its duty of protecting Cebu City from criminal elements.
