Cebu Province Eyes Partnership with Food and Wine Festival to Boost Agriculture
Cebu Province Partners with Food and Wine Festival

The Cebu provincial government is planning to partner with the Cebu Food and Wine Festival (CFWF) to strengthen food security and expand opportunities for local farmers. The festival opened on June 6 and will run until June 27, 2026.

This was discussed during a visit by Kate Dychangco-Anzani, founder of CFWF, to the office of Governor Baricuatro. Among the proposals are linking farmer groups to hotels and restaurants participating in the festival and organizing a Farmer's Market during the month-long celebration. The event brought together culinary experts, famous chefs, and world-class dining partners.

Governor Baricuatro expressed hope that through this festival, farmers in the province will benefit, improving their income and boosting Cebu's economy.
