P1.088M Shabu Seized in Bacolod Drug Bust, Two Arrested

The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) confiscated an estimated P1.088 million worth of shabu during a drug bust operation conducted at Purok Narra Baybay, Barangay 8, Bacolod City on May 8, 2026. The operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals, identified as alias Ning, 30, and alias Nikka, 20, both residents of Barangay 8.

Operation Details

According to BCPO records, operatives from the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) carried out the operation after a tip-off. One of the suspects sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer, triggering the arrest. Authorities recovered several plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 160 grams, along with the marked money used in the transaction.

Suspects and Charges

The suspects, described as high-value and street-level individuals in Bacolod City, are currently detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 2. They face charges for violations of Sections 5, 11, and 26 of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
