Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda recently conducted an inspection of the under-construction Escolastica Romero District Hospital (ERDH) Annex in Lubao, Pampanga. This initiative is part of the provincial government’s ongoing efforts to expand and improve healthcare services for residents across the region.
Modern Healthcare Facility
The new ERDH Annex is designed as a modern two-storey healthcare facility featuring a roof deck. Once completed, it will provide essential medical services not only to the residents of Lubao but also to those in neighboring towns. The facility aims to address the growing demand for accessible and quality healthcare in the area.
Facility Specifications
The annex will boast a 40-bed capacity, including three private rooms, three semi-private rooms, seven ward rooms, and an isolation room. It will also house two doctors’ clinics, two operating rooms, treatment and recovery rooms, three nurse stations, a conference room, accessible ramps, and comfort rooms. These features are designed to ensure comprehensive patient care and efficient hospital operations.
Operational Timeline
Provincial officials have announced that the extension is targeted to become operational by the third quarter of 2026. Despite continuous rainfall, Governor Pineda visited the project site while simultaneously leading a medical mission in the municipality, demonstrating her commitment to advancing healthcare infrastructure and services in Pampanga.
