Chene Band is a pop rock ensemble based in Toledo City, Cebu, Philippines, consisting of members Jolan on keyboards, Chet on guitar 1, Bangkai Alas on guitar 2, Ivan on bass, Van on drums, Ekim on techno drums, and Irene as the vocalist. The group originated over two decades ago, evolving from casual friendship and jam sessions into a fully formed musical act.

Inspiration Behind the Music: Chene's Unique Story

Following the pandemic, Chene Band began creating original songs, drawing profound inspiration from Chene, an autistic child close to their hearts. Despite Chene's challenges with speech, the child possesses an exceptional musical talent that significantly influenced the band's creative process, leading to the development of their EP album.
