2026 Mutya ning San Fernando Candidates Begin Pageant Journey

The candidates of the 2026 Mutya ning San Fernando (MNSF) have officially begun their month-long pageant journey with a series of activities designed to deepen their connection to the city's heritage. The program included a tour of historic sites, a seminar on personality and advocacy development, and a briefer on the institutionalized “Pamamugeng Fernandino.”

Heritage Tour of San Fernando

Facilitated by the MNSF Committee, through the City Tourism Office, the candidates visited eight significant locations across the city. The tour aimed to instill a deeper appreciation of San Fernando’s rich culture, history, and heritage. Sites visited included Heroes Park, Capital Town Pampanga, Santungan ning Kulturang Kapampangan, Augusto P. Hizon House, City Hall, Metropolitan Cathedral of San Fernando, City Market Plaza, and the Giant Lantern and Tourist Information Center.

Seminars on Stress Management and Advocacy

The whole-day activity culminated in a two-part seminar. Registered psychometrician Diane Amor Garcia discussed stress and pressure management, while Kapampangan beauty queen Sophia Bianca Santos focused on advocacy development. Garcia, assistant manager of CSF-based Argao Psych, taught candidates how to manage pageant-related stress. Santos, crowned Miss Elite Philippines 2025 and Miss World Philippines 2024 Second Princess, shared insights on formulating, promoting, and applying advocacies.

The event was co-organized by the JCI San Fernando Cabalen.
