Strict Enforcement of Noise Regulations
The operation was conducted under a directive from the Office of the Assistant Secretary, emphasizing the need for strict adherence to vehicle noise standards. Specifically, Section 34 of Republic Act 4136, known as the Land Transportation and Traffic Code, bans such alterations. Furthermore, Section 5.2.7 of Department Order No. 2010-32 reinforces this prohibition, as highlighted by LTO 7 officials.
