A 24-year-old motorist was injured after his motorcycle crashed into a concrete center island along N. Bacalso Avenue in Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City at around 2:00 a.m. on April 29, 2026.
Victim Identified
Police identified the driver as Jericho Gonzaga, a promodiser who is a native of Tabuelan town but currently resides in Sitio Uldog, Cansojong, Talisay City.
Details of the Incident
According to the initial investigation by the Talisay Police, Gonzaga was traveling northbound to go home after working overtime. Authorities believe that the driver fell asleep while driving. Due to the strong impact of the collision, Gonzaga was thrown from his motorcycle and sustained severe head injuries.
