Cordova Port Terminal Hikes Environmental and Terminal Fees

The Cordova-Roro Port Terminal, serving routes to Getafe, Bohol, is implementing increased environmental and terminal fees under a newly approved municipal ordinance aimed at improving port facilities and funding environmental protection programs.

New Fee Schedule

Under Ordinance No. 2026-031, jointly approved by the Sangguniang Bayan on May 25, 2026, officials have imposed an Environmental User's Fee of PHP 20, up from the previous PHP 15, for all port users. This fee will support coastal resource management, waste management, sanitation, and other environmental initiatives.

The passenger terminal fee has been set at PHP 15 for regular travelers and PHP 10 for students, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities. Regular travelers will experience an increase of PHP 5.

Vehicle Terminal Fees

Motorcycles will now pay PHP 25, while tricycles will be charged PHP 50. Private cars and vans will pay a terminal fee of PHP 100, light trucks and public utility jeepneys (PUJs) PHP 150, and heavy trucks and buses PHP 200.

According to the Municipal Public Information Office, the new rates for passenger terminal fee, vehicle terminal fee, and Environmental User's Fee took effect on Friday, June 19.
