Philippine-born Japanese volleyball star Jaja Santiago, also known as Sachi Minowa, is set to play in the United States professional volleyball league, League One Volleyball (LOVB). The 6-foot-5 standout announced her move during the Philippine leg of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL).

LOVB confirmed the signing through a social media post. “Adding a new country to our list: the Philippines! Welcome, Sachi “Jaja” Minowa!!” the league posted, as reported by Spin.ph.
Santiago, who represents Japan internationally, has been a key player in top leagues. Her transfer to LOVB marks a significant step for the league, which is expanding its international roster.
