More than one hundred children from a challenging environment felt the warmth and joy of the Christmas season during a special community gathering in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. The event, titled "Joyful Hearts: A Christmas Gathering," successfully took place on December 13, 2025, at the Soong Dumpsite in Soong, Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City.
A Celebration of Faith and Community Spirit
The meaningful celebration was spearheaded by the Hokkomslow Organization, Inc., a Cebu-based non-profit dedicated to promoting local and international volunteer activities for community development. They executed the event in partnership with TU & Hokkomslow. Through the combined support of families and friends, the activity transformed into a memorable occasion filled with hope, laughter, and love for the children in the area.
The program commenced with a Christmas message from Pastor Catalino Paloga. He shared the true meaning of Christmas, reminding the children about God's love, hope, and the joy that comes from giving. His inspirational words set a tone of faith, gratitude, and compassion for the entire celebration.
