A 23-year-old man is now facing legal consequences after causing a disturbance during the vibrant Sinulog festival celebrations in Cebu City. The suspect, identified as George Michael Tumulak, a native of Lapu-Lapu City, has been charged with Unjust Vexation following an incident that occurred on the night of January 18, 2026.

According to police reports, the event took place around 11:00 PM along Juana Osmeña Street in Barangay Capitol Site, Cebu City. Tumulak was allegedly intoxicated and engaged in disruptive behavior by continuously shouting and splashing water from a bottle onto individuals who were eating and enjoying the festivities in the area.
His actions created significant commotion and annoyance among the public, prompting immediate response from law enforcement officers. Police Corporal Darwin Flores and Patrolman Joecyl Cabilla from the Abellana Police Station swiftly intervened to address the situation.
