2 PAF Pilots Killed in Benguet Crash Laid to Rest

Two Philippine Air Force (PAF) pilots who perished in a plane crash in Tuba, Benguet last week have been laid to rest. PAF spokesperson Colonel Ma. Christina Basco confirmed that First Lieutenant Ruth Angelique Pasos and Second Lieutenant Cherky Enlawan Embudo were buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Tuesday morning, May 26. The PAF extended its condolences to the families of the fallen pilots. The two were aboard an SF-260 trainer aircraft that crashed in Tuba, Benguet around 10:30 a.m. on May 20. They were accorded arrival honors at Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base and posthumously awarded the Silver Wing Medal.
