Mawab LGU Launches My Real Serbisyo Caravan to Bring Essential Services Directly to Communities
The Local Government Unit of Mawab in Davao de Oro is taking a proactive step to bridge the gap between government services and residents with the launch of the My Real Serbisyo Caravan. This innovative town-wide initiative is designed to visit all 11 barangays, ensuring that critical services are delivered right to the doorsteps of every community, making public assistance more accessible and convenient for all.
Caravan Kickoff and Comprehensive Service Offerings
The caravan officially commenced on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brgy. Bawani Gymnasium. Residents can benefit from a diverse array of free services, including:
- Health services such as free check-ups, laboratory and diagnostic tests, medicines, tooth extraction, and circumcision.
- Legal assistance and free haircuts.
- Agricultural support and civil registration services.
Additionally, the LGU will host a job fair to connect job seekers with employment opportunities, further supporting the community's economic needs.
Mayor's Vision for Inclusive Public Service
Municipal Mayor Myrill Apit highlighted that the My Real Serbisyo Caravan embodies the administration's dedication to genuine and inclusive public service. "Our people should not always be the ones going to the municipal hall to access government services. This time, we are bringing the services directly to them," Mayor Apit stated. "The My Real Serbisyo Caravan represents our sincere commitment to ensure that government programs reach every household and are truly felt by every family in Mawab."
Strengthening Community Engagement Under #BagongMawab
Under the #BagongMawab banner, the municipal government is intensifying efforts to ensure that services are not only available but also impactful for every resident. The LGU urges all residents, particularly those in Barangay Bawani and neighboring areas, to participate and take full advantage of the free offerings during the caravan. This initiative reflects a broader strategy to enhance responsiveness and foster a stronger connection between the government and its people.
