Government operatives successfully dismantled an active drug den and arrested four individuals during a targeted law enforcement operation in Zamboanga City. The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confirmed the successful raid that took place in Camino Nuevo village.
Operation Details and Arrests
The coordinated operation occurred on Tuesday evening, November 25, 2025, around 7:08 p.m. Law enforcement authorities executed a search warrant that led to the immediate apprehension of the suspects. The PDEA-Zamboanga Peninsula identified the arrested individuals by their aliases as Ivy, 37; Faizal, 41; Dondon, 45; and Dennis, 18.
During the raid, operatives discovered and confiscated substantial evidence including approximately 11 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P74,800. The seizure also included marked money used in the operation, various drug paraphernalia, and other non-drug evidence that will support the case against the suspects.
Charges and Ongoing Investigation
All four suspects are currently detained and facing multiple charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Specifically, they are charged with violations of Sections 6, 7, 11, and 12 of Article II, which cover maintaining a drug den, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The PDEA conducted this anti-drug operation with support from local police units, demonstrating effective inter-agency cooperation in combating illegal drug activities in the Zamboanga Peninsula region. The successful operation represents another step in the government's ongoing campaign against drug proliferation in urban communities.
