In a notice published on the official Facebook page of the RCAC, the public is asked to ensure that any transaction, request, solicitation for donations, or agreement made in the name of the Archbishop is genuine and authorized.
How to Verify Legitimacy
The Archdiocese advises the public to verify the legitimacy of any such dealings before responding or entering into any agreement. This can be done by directly contacting the Archbishop's Office at the following telephone numbers: (032) 253-3382 and (032) 254-0951.
Stay Alert Against Scammers
According to the RCAC, it is important for the public to remain vigilant against swindlers and scammers who may use the name of the Church or the Archbishop to deceive people. The Archdiocese encourages everyone to cooperate by reporting any suspicious activities and verifying information to avoid falling victim to fraud.
