Media Group Intensifies Anti-Corruption Campaign

The Central Luzon Media Association (CLMA) Pampanga Chapter has made a strong commitment to strengthen its efforts against corruption and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely news to the public. This pledge came during their recent General Membership Assembly held at Clark Freeport on Friday, November 21.

During the ceremony, President Mark Allen Sison led the renewal of oath for the organization's officers, where the group collectively vowed to enhance the role of local media in promoting community development and improving governance throughout the region.

Expanding Media Reach and Community Impact

The CLMA Pampanga Chapter, established in 2021, currently comprises 32 members from various national and local media outlets representing television, radio, print, and online platforms. Since its inception, the organization has provided vital news coverage to communities and played a significant role in uncovering corruption cases and irregular practices.

One of their notable initiatives includes the Campus Journalism Caravan, where experienced members share their skills and knowledge with aspiring student journalists. This program has become an essential platform for nurturing the next generation of media professionals in Central Luzon.

"This is our calling. Let us continue to serve the public in the best way we can," declared President Sison, assuring that the group will continue expanding its reach both in news delivery and community initiatives.
