The Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office has wrapped up a robust month of law enforcement operations, targeting criminal activities and public order violations throughout December 2025.
Major Arrests and Drug Operations
Under the leadership of Provincial Director PCol. Cesario D. Dukiling Jr., police forces maintained a strong operational tempo from December 1 to 31, 2025. Their efforts led to the apprehension of 14 wanted individuals across the province. In a significant blow to the narcotics trade, authorities conducted 36 separate anti-illegal drug operations, resulting in the arrest of 39 suspects.
Crackdown on Illegal Weapons and Gambling
The campaign against unregistered firearms proved highly successful, with police operations recovering a total of 22 loose firearms. Simultaneously, the crackdown on illicit gambling saw two targeted operations that led to the arrest of six individuals involved in these activities.
Traffic and Ordinance Enforcement Drive
Police also sustained a high level of visibility in enforcing traffic laws and local regulations. A total of 58 operations were carried out in line with Republic Act 4136, the Land Transportation and Traffic Code. This rigorous enforcement led to the issuance of 439 temporary operator’s permits for various violations.
Furthermore, officers conducted 217 operations to enforce municipal ordinances. These efforts resulted in police issuing a substantial 2,054 citation tickets to violators.
Police officials stated that the December figures underscore their continued focus on public safety, discipline, and order as the province concluded the calendar year. The comprehensive operations reflect the police force's commitment to maintaining peace and security for the residents of Davao de Oro.
